Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a contract assignment. This role is responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining compliance with payroll regulations, reconciling payroll data, and assisting with employee payroll inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Review timesheets, deductions, and payroll adjustments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to employee payroll questions
• Maintain accurate payroll records

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll and payroll regulations
• Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
